Comedy Central‘s South Side is now casting extras for a movie theater scene in Chicago, Illinois.
Casting directors are now casting actors, models, and talent to work on Thursday, June 28th in Atlanta, Georgia.
Producers are seeking the following types:
- For Comedy Central’s TV Series ‘South Side’, we need a few movie theatre patrons tomorrow, Thursday. Need Male and Female. ALL ethnicities. 18 and older. MUST BE at least 18.
- One of the extras tomorrow should be an African American Male in his 40s that will be in scrubs (not too small of a body frame). Let us know if you smoke when submitting. And, one African American Female in her 70s–80s. She will be in a wheel chair they provide. These 2 roles are for a splinter unit.
About South Side:
Written by Bashir Salahuddin, Diallo Riddle and Sultan Salahuddin, this workplace comedy is set in and around a rent-to-own business on the South Side of Chicago (where the Salahuddins grew up). All three writers will have roles on the show. The show will be executive produced by Bashir Salahuddin and Riddle as well as executive produced and directed by Michael Blieden.

Must have a positive, professional attitude to get along with every department and be very dependable. This will not be up long. Only need a few.
