However, experiences on set, whether they be stunts gone wrong or never living up to the success of the original, changed their lives forever. For example, George Clooney did his own stunts in Syriana and got severely injured when one of the stunts went horribly wrong. Shelly Duvall dedicated four months to the filming of the intense film The Shining and was put through literal hell to get her scenes films.
