‘Homeland’ Season 4 Has A Premiere Date, A Poster, And A New Action-Packed Trailer

Here’s the first trailer for Season 4 of Showtime’s Homeland, which is taking a completely different turn after leading actor Damian Lewis has left the show.

Entertainment Weekly explained that the Season 4 of Homeland will mostly take place in Pakistan and Afghanistan as Carrie struggles to maintain stability in the region after the pullout of U.S. forces in Afghanistan. Plus, there are several new cast members as well, including Corey Stoll, Suraj Sharma, Laila Robins, and Michael O’Keefe.

What’s your favorite part of the TV trailer? My favorite part happens right at the :30 sec mark.

The trailer was presented during the Television Critics Association’s press tour, during which they revealed that the fourth season will premiere on October 5th at 9:00 p.m.

Fox reveals their new reality show ‘Utopia’.

Utopia is the new Fox reality show that sends “pioneers” to an uninhabited part of the world to figure out how to run it.

Fifteen pioneers will be chosen for the reality show experiment, then recorded around the clock, with streaming video on the Internet as well as on TV. But, at any point in time a pioneer can be replaced.

The show premieres on September 7th.

Nickelodeon Cancels ‘Sam & Cat’ Due to Behind-The Scenes Drama

Nickelodeon cancels ‘Sam & Cat’ after behind-the scenes drama.

Months after Nickelodeon put the TV show on hiatus after behind-the-scenes problems, the Viacom-owned company will not be moving forward with another season.

“Nickelodeon will not be producing more episodes of Sam & Cat,” a network spokesperson told The Hollywood Reporter in a statement. “We are very proud of the show and its very talented cast and we wish them all the best.”

A recent promo hinted at a wrap-up of some sort, promising that the show would be “going out with a bang.” Sam & Cat reruns will remain on Nickelodeon’s schedule and creator Dan Schneider is already in production on his next series Henry Danger, slated for a fall launch.

Sam & Cat featured Jennete McCurdy and Ariana Grande in a live-action comedy series. The show centers on Sam (McCurdy) and Cat (Grande) as they become best friends and unlikely roommates who start a babysitting service.

Ariane Grande addressed the show’s cancellation on her Facebook and Twitter pages on Sunday. “I want to thank Nickelodeon for making a childhood dream of mine come true, for being a family to me, for being so accommodating and supportive of my multitasking with my music career, and for of course introducing me to many of my fans however many years ago,” she wrote.

The show was cancelled at McCurdy reported salary issues and racy photos leaked of the actress on the web in March. On top of that she failed to appear at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, where Sam & Cat took the TV comedy prize.

Jennette McCurdy and Ariana Grande were given a whopping 40-episode season-one order last July after only four episodes. The series started as a spinoff from Victorious and iCarly.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, The Runner will be produced by Benji Kohn, Bingo Gubelmann and Chris Papavasiliou for Paper Street andGlenn Williamson for Back Lot. Ruth Mutch, Noah Millman, Sam Bisbee, Tom Conigliaro and Erika Hampson are executive producing.

‘Untitled Armored Car (Loomis Fargo)‘ Starring Zach Galifianakis and Owen Wilson Casting Call for Cars in North Carolina

The movie centers on the 1997 Loomis Fargo warehouse robbery that occurred in Charlotte, North Carolina where a night guard at an armored car company organizes one of the biggest bank heists in history.

Zach Galifianakis plays a disgruntled armored car driver who teams up with a pretty co-worker and a group of inexperienced criminals to steal nearly $20 million from a bank vault. The thieves leave a trail of evidence as they go on an excessive spending spree buying mansions, sports cars and boats. To add insult to injury, the driver’s team double-cross him and leave him alone on the run in Mexico while they live the good life in the United States.

The feature film will feature The Office‘s John Krasinksi, Pitch Perfect‘s Anna Kendrick and Richard Jenkin’s from Six Feet Under. According to Deadline, “The Hollars” centers on  John Hollar (John Krasinski), an aspiring NYC artist who takes his girlfriend (Anna Kendrick) back to his Middle America hometown on the eve of his mother’s (Margo Martindale) brain surgery. There he’s forced to navigate the crazy life he left behind as his dysfunctional family, high school pals, his father (Richard Jenkins), and his over-eager ex flood back into his life ahead of the operation.

Casting directors are looking for two girls, sisters, of mixed race Caucasian/African American for a family photo to be featured in the film The Hollars. Girls must be 2 and 5 years old.

Tracy Morgan Released from Rehab Center

Tracy Morgan released from rehab center and issues statement over Wal-Mart lawsuit.

Morgan’s publicist released the following statement this afternoon, “Tracy has been released from the rehabilitation center and will continue his recovery efforts at home with an aggressive outpatient program.  He asked me to pass along his sincerest gratitude to everyone who has helped him get to this point.  He would also appreciate some privacy during this crucial point in his recovery. In regards to the reports of a lawsuit, I can confirm that Tracy, along with the other victims of this horrific accident, have filed suit.”

The actor/comedian was critically injured in the New Jersey Turnpike wreck, which ending up killing his friend and mentor James McNair. McNair’s widow Krista Millea and comic Ardie Fuqua Jr, both of whom were injured in the crash.

‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ Was Almost a TV Series

Starz Network wanted a ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ TV Series.

Before the 2015 feature film was produced, CEO Chris Albrecht told Universal he would give a three year commitment to a show based on the ‘Fifty Shades of Grey‘ series.

According to reports from The Hollywood Reporter, Fifty Shades of Grey was almost a TV series.

It probably will never happen now, but the offer was presented to executives several months ago. During Friday’s Television Critics Association conference, CEO Chris Albrecht said tha the was willing to give the EL James best selling series a three season series.

The discussion started when Albrecht discussed the new series ‘Outlander‘. “If you read the book, this could only be a series,” he said of his new source material. “I’m the guy who called up Universal and said, ‘I’ll get you three years on the air as a series. Let’s just do a Fifty Shades of Grey series. But movie people think things are movies, and authors think things are movies. Up until recently, movies were the Tiffany jewel in the crown.”

Fifty Shades of Grey will hit theaters in 2015 and will star Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan.

Steven Spielberg Gets Internet Backlash After Jurassic Park Photo Emerges

Steven Spielberg has been outed as the sport-hunting Dinosaur killing monster that he is.

It is widely accepted that the most hated person on the internet right now is the Texan cheerleader who got famous by killing endangered animals and posing with them.

A man named Jay Branscomb posted a response on Facebook, outing Spielberg for his hunting hobbies.

Jay Branscomb put a picture of Steven Spielberg posing with a “departed” Triceratops on his Facebook wall, writing “Disgraceful photo of recreational hunter happily posing next to a Triceratops he just slaughtered. Please share so the world can name and shame this despicable man.”

It is clearly a joke to everyone, except his Facebook friends.

Some commenter got really upset at the “uneducated” hunter’s lack of knowledge surrounding the species he hunts.

Tourist loses fingertips on Pirates of the Caribbean Ride at Disney World.

After the Six Flags roller coaster accident, my fears of roller coaster rides increased tremendously. Now, there are reports that a man lost his fingertips on the Pirates of the Caribbean Ride at Disney World.

At the Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, a British tourist has unfortunately learned the reason why you should keep your hands inside the ride at all times.

The man is said to be in his late 50’s and lost the tips of his ring and pinky fingers on his right hand on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride.

“We received a call from a Disney cast member informing us that a guest had been injured, so we responded and he was treated at a local hospital. It was a non-emergency situation…”

“He was around 57 years old. What the medic told me is was he was saying, ‘I had my hand on the side of the boat and I shouldn’t have. It was all my fault.’ [via]

The ride was closed as officials checked out the accident. But, the ride was soon reopened.

Disney’s ‘Pete’s Dragon’ nationwide open casting call for lead roles.

Online video auditions are now available for kids interested in auditioning for lead roles in the upcoming Disney movie ‘Pete’s Dragon‘.

‘Pete’s Dragon‘ centers on a Pete. After losing his parents in a car crash at the age of four, Pete escapes to the forest where he meets a dragon who becomes his closest (and only) companion. When a nearby mill threatens to cut down the forest, Pete encounters his first humans since the death of his parents and is faced with choosing between his dragon friend and the prospect of a traditional childhood.

Casting directors are looking for kids ages 8 to 9 for a lead role in the upcoming Disney movie, ‘Pete’s Dragon’.

‘Pete’s Dragon‘ is a remake of the 1977 feature film of the same name. The original film was a musical about a young boy with a magical animated dragon is won the run from his adoptive parents.

Betsy Royal Casting is looking for Native Americans, and Asian kids for a print campaign for the USDA. The print photo shoot will occur towards the end of the July.

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), also known as the Agriculture Department, is the U.S. federal executive department responsible for developing and executing federal government policy on farming, agriculture, forestry, and food. It aims to meet the needs of farmers and ranchers, promote agricultural trade and production, work to assure food safety, protect natural resources, foster rural communities and end hunger in the United States and abroad.

Models that are selected will be compensated $300/half or $600/full day.

Producers for CBS Studios’ NCIS New Orleans are now hiring stand ins in New Orleans.

NCIS fans rejoice, and get a triple dose of crime investigations on CBS.

The CBS network has added four new dramas and a new sitcom to their fall lineup, including “NCIS” a spinoff set in New Orleans, titled NCIS: New Orleans.

NCIS: New Orleans is a spin-off of NCIS that is set in, you guessed it, New Orleans.

The new televisions series will feature Lucas Black, Paige Turco, and Scott Bakula.

Now casting directors are looking to hire stand-ins to work on the new TV series.

Starz Network ‘Power’ season 2 casting call for yoga students in New York City.

According to the Starz Network, “Power” tells the story of James “Ghost” St. Patrick, a wealthy New York City nightclub owner who caters to the city’s elite.  He wants to build an empire, turn the club into a Fortune 500 business, but there’s just one problem: Ghost is living a double life.

When he is not in the club, he is the kingpin of the most lucrative drug network in New York for a very high-level clientele. His marriage, family and business all become unknowingly threatened as he is tempted to leave his criminal life behind and become the rags-to-riches businessman he wants to be most of all.

According to Deadline, Power recieved a second season after the premiering the first episode two weeks ago. The eries, created and executive produced by Courtney Kemp Agboh and executive producers Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Mark Canton, David Knoller and Randall Emmett, will begin production on its 10-episode this summer.

FOX ‘Sleepy Hollow’ Season 2 Casting Call for Cars in North Carolina.

This modern-day twist on Washington Irving’s classic, ICHABOD CRANE (Tom Mison, “Salmon Fishing in the Yemen”) is resurrected and pulled two and a half centuries through time to unravel a mystery that dates all the way back to the founding fathers. Revived alongside Ichabod is the infamous Headless Horseman who is on a murderous rampage in present-day Sleepy Hollow. Ichabod quickly realizes that stopping Headless is just the beginning, as the resurrected rider is but the first of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse and only one of the many formidable foes that Ichabod must face to protect not only Sleepy Hollow, but the world (FOX).

AB Casting is looking for a mixture of ethnicities who own a car that was made between the years 1990 and 2000. This is a flashback scene and we need average looking cars.

FOX “Sleepy Hollow” Season 2 Casting Call

WILMINGTON, NC- MALES/FEMALES, ALL ETHNICIES, WHO OWN A VEHICLE MADE BETWEEN 1990 and 2000 (THAT IS NOT RED OR WHITE.) WORK DATE IS TUESDAY, JULY 15th.

We are looking for males and females, mixture of ethnicities who own a car that was made between the years 1990 and 2000. This is a flashback scene and we need average looking cars. Please do not submit if you own a more luxurious brand car.

We always ask that you be available to work 12 plus hours. The pay is a guaranteed $64 total for up to 8 hours and time and a half after 8 hours.

FX Networks Commercial Casting Call in New Orleans

FX Network is filming a commercial in New Orleans and is seeking actors to audition for roles in the upcoming promo.

Caballero Casting posted a casting call looking for talents that are able to do speciality acts. Think, sword swallowers, little people, female dancers, and people with stretchy skin, etc.

Auditions will take place on July 13th and July 14th in New Orleans, Louisiana. Filming will take place between July 18th through the 21st.

FX Commercial Casting Call

NOW CASTING MEN AND WOMEN over 18 years of age, SPECIALTY ACTS/FREAK SHOW TYPES!!

This is an “FX PROMO” shoot that will be taking place in New Orleans, shoot dates will likely take place between 7/18-7/21st. AUDITIONS WILL TAKE PLACE JULY 13TH AND 14TH IN NEW ORLEANS. At this point we are trying to gather options to bring in for in person auditions. DO NOT submit if you do NOT have open availability from the 18th-21st of July. You may work one day to all of these days.

1. CONTORTIONIST- We are looking to cast someone that can fit into a birdcage which will likely be around 3 ft high, not a canary cage.

2. FLEXIBLE PERSON- Someone who can do a hyper extended split-leg going up from a standing position
