About American Crime Story: Impeachment:
Ryan Murphy’s upcoming FX limited series will center around the Bill Clinton-Monica Lewinsky sex scandal. The third season of American Crime Story will be based on Jeffrey Toobin’s book A Vast Conspiracy: The Real Story of the Sex Scandal That Nearly Brought Down a President. Actress Beanie Feldstein will play Monica Lewinsky, Clive Owen as Bill Clinton, Annaleigh Ashford as Paula Jones, and Billy Eichner as journalist Matt Drudge.
Sarah Paulson will play Linda Tripp. Paulson, whose new show Ratched recently premiered on Netflix broke the news to Bustle. “But I’ve gotten the call and it looks like I’m going back to work next month,” Paulson said, saying that she’s “already had another prosthetic fitting and another two other costume fittings” as part of her prep to play Linda Tripp, a friend and confidante of Lewinsky, who privately recorded their conversations about the affair with Clinton and publicly released those conversations. “And so it does seem like we are going ahead. All the sets are built, the White House, Linda’s house, Monica’s apartment. We are definitely beginning it.”
