HBO has picked up The White House Plumbers, which is a limited series from the team behind Veep and will center around the Watergate scandal. Actors Woody Harrelson and Justin Theroux will star in the TV series.
According to HBO, the show will be based on public records and the book Integrity by Egil “Bud” Krogh and Matthew Krogh. The five-part limited series The White House Plumbers will focus on the true story of how Richard Nixon’s own Watergate masterminds.
Woody Harrelson and Justin Theroux will star as E. Howard Hunt and G. Gordon Liddy, respectively. Along with appearing in the show, Harrelson and Theroux will executive produce the show. Writers and executive producers, Alex Gregory and Peter Huyck, created the series and will executive price alongside Veep showrunner David Mandel. Mandel will also direct all five episodes. Frank Rich, executive producer of Veep and Succession will also executive produce.

Extra (Hudson Valley Local), HBO’s ‘White House Plumbers’
Grant Wilfley Casting is seeking locals who are interested in appearing as background in the upcoming HBO limited series THE WHITE HOUSE PLUMBERS, from the producers of Veep and Succession.
Set in the early 1970s, the series will tell the true story of how Nixon’s own political saboteurs and Watergate masterminds, E. Howard Hunt and G. Gordon Liddy, accidentally toppled the presidency they were trying to protect.
Filming will begin in May 2021 in the Hudson Valley area of NY (Kingston, Poughkeepsie, Newburgh, etc). Must be ok working around smoke and have natural-colored hair. Must be ok with possibly having your hair altered into a 1970s style.
This casting is for paid background work.
Mandatory COVID testing provided by production prior to filming. No experience necessary. Must be lawfully able to work in the US.
