Superman reboot is coming soon at Warner Bros. studios with Ta-Nehisi Coates writing and J.J. Abrams producing the production.
According to Deadline, author Ta-Nehisi Coates is writing a Superman reboot feature film for Warner Bros. and DC, which J.J. Abrams will produce through his Bad Robot production company.
No plot and no cast attachments have not been announced. However, Deadline reports Henry Cavill is interested in reprising the role.
Coates recently worked with Ryan Cooler in the upcoming drama feature film Wrong Answer, which is based on the Atlanta cheating scandal, where a math theater alters students’ test scores to get the school more funding. Michael B. Jordan is attached to a star in the upcoming movie.

The movie was originally going to hit theaters on December 22, 201, with filming scheduled for July 2019. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, filming was delayed to April 2021 and it’s released pushed back to an unknown date. The movie will also release several other characters including Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher, Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone, and Doctor Fate.

The Walking Dead: World Beyond is a horror drama series created by Scott M. Gimple and Matthew Negrete. The series premiered on AMC on October 4, 2020. It is a spin-off series to The Walking Dead, which is based on the comic book series of the same name that was created by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard. The Walking Dead: World Beyond is the third TV series within The Walking Dead franchise. The first season had 10 episodes, and the second season will feature an additional 10 episodes before ending.
The series was first announced in July 2018 and was given a ten-episode order in April 2019. Matthew Negrete is the showrunner for the series.

The Walking Dead: World Beyond Extras Casting Call
Kendall Cooper Casting has advertised AMC’s “The Walking Dead: World Beyond” is returning for a second season and is now casting.
The casting company is taking submissions for background actors to work in season two of the show. The Walking Dead: World Beyond will film in Richmond and surrounding areas from February until June 2021.
The casting call says that filming typically runs from Monday through Friday and is usually a 12-hour commitment for each day of work, sometimes longer.
Producers are looking for people of all ethnicities, ages, genders, sizes, and types to play various extras roles throughout the series, including both SAG and Non-Union talent.
Casting directors are seeing for people with military or law enforcement experience in particular.
Mandatory COVID-19 testing will be provided by production. Testing will be required before any in-person work.
Face masks, social distancing, and other COVID-19 protocols will be in place to ensure the safety of all cast and crew.

Dwayne Johnson will play the character Black Adam in the movie adaptation, which is a spinoff and sequel to the 2019 SHAZAM! movie. In June 2019, Jaume Collet-Serra was announced as the director. Johnson then announced via his Twitter account Larry She will be the film’s cinematographer.

It’s important to note the character was planned to be introduced in Shazam!, but by January 2017, the film productions decided to split the narrative to focus on Black Adam’s origin story. Johnson, who is also working as a producer on the movie, stated the two characters will meet in a future film. Adam Sztykiel was hired to write the script and co-produce Hiram Garcia says the movie will be gritty and violent, similar to the comic books.

After ‘Black Adam,’ Dwayne Johnson Considers Becoming An Adviser For DC And Expresses Hope For A Marvel Crossover.
According to Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav, the studio wants DC’s answer to Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige. Could Dwayne Johnson, star of “Black Adam,” be the person in charge of DC Films?
When Variety asked Johnson if he might be able to don the mask on the red carpet at the highly anticipated Times Square premiere of “Black Adam,” the star took a long swig of water before confidently saying that he was more than prepared for the challenge.
“The best position that I could be for DC is one as an advisor, where I can help. I love DC. It’s in my blood,” Johnson told Variety’s Jordan Moreau. “In the spirit of growing up with the DC Universe. I’m here to help in any way I can, including looking for and finding that right leader or leaders.”
Johnson’s answer also reflected his long history with DC Comics, which he has been a fan of since childhood.
“As a little boy, I grew up loving the Super Friends, specifically Superman,” Johnson shared. “I saw my first Black Adam comic, and it was arresting to me. His face was intense. He looked cool, looked different, badass, and had brown skin. So automatically, I was relating to him. I am DC through and through.”
As “Black Adam” features Johnson’s antihero alongside other characters, such as Pierce Brosnan’s Doctor Fate and Aldis Hodge’s Hawkman, the star has bigger plans for which superheroes could appear next to his character. When asked about the possibility of a DC-Marvel crossover event, Johnson replied that it would only be a matter of meeting fan demand.
“Well, I’m always optimistic. I’d like to think that we would see that. My philosophy is anything can get done. Let’s start with the end goal. And if the end goal is to have some sort of crossover that can be compelling, smart, cool for the fans,” Johnson said. “Let’s get a temperature gauge if they’d like to see something like that. And then, if they do, then let’s create it. I operate my businesses like that. I truly believe that anything can happen. Anything can happen with the right people and place, and the right leadership, having the right conversations.”

Killers of the Flower Moon (Feature Film) is a movie adaptation of the book Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI, which is the third non-fiction book by the American journalist David Grann. The book was released on April 18, 2017, by Double Day. Time magazine lists Killers of the Flower Moon as one of the top ten non-fiction books of 2017.
The upcoming movie adaptation is directed by Martin Scorsese and will star Leonardo DiCaprio, Jesse Plemons, and Robert De Niro. The movie’s budget is over $200 million and will be released theatrically by Paramount Pictures and stream on Apple TV+.

Based on David Grann’s best-selling book, the Apple TV+ Original film adaptation takes place in 1920s Oklahoma and centers around a string of brutal murders of Osage Nation Native Americans, which later is known as the Reign of Terror. The Osage Nation, who ere the richest people in the world, were killed one by one after oil was discovered on their land. As the murders increased, the newly-created Federal Bureau of Investigation took the case and discovered a conspiracy and one of the deadliest crimes in American history.
Actress Lily Gladstone, who is a descendant of the Blackfeet and New Perce tribes, will play the role of Mollie Burkhart, an Osage Nation member married to Ernest Burkhart, who is the nephew of a local rancher. Leonardo DiCaprio will play Burkhart and Robert De Niro will play his uncle in the movie adaptation.
Martin Scorsese is producing and directing Killers of the Flower Moonfor Apple Studios and Imperative Entertainment. Eric Roth is writing the screenplay.

Filming will occur in the Tulsa / Bartlesville / Osage County area from Spring to late Summer 2021. We are in need of persons 18 and older and of all ethnicities.
It’s an easy and fun way to play a part in a film portraying 1920’s Oklahoma! While we would normally hold a large open call for extras on this film (as we did last year), current conditions caused us to create a virtual version instead.
The virtual open call will consist of simply filling out an online questionnaire & providing the casting office with a little bit of information.

Additional Note – Anyone selected to appear in the film would be asked to start growing out their hair and facial hair, including eyebrows (women), so that they can eventually be styled according to the era of the story.
Native American Horseback Riders Needed for Major Film
Western Style Riders & Team Drivers Needed Multiple Days
A major motion picture, soon to film in Oklahoma, is looking for Native American skilled horseback riders to appear for multiple days in the project.
These persons, male or female, aged 18-70, must be skilled horse people. They must be able to ride Western style and should be available for multiple days throughout filming, from May to September in northeastern Oklahoma.
Ideally, these persons live within 50 miles of the Bartlesville or Pawhuska, Oklahoma area, or must be willing to travel to the location at their own expense. Travel and housing is not provided.
Acting experience is not necessary.
The film is also looking for Native Americans skilled at driving a horse team. If you or someone you know is skilled in that area, please indicate so on the submission.
Those applying will not be asked to provide their own horse. The horse wrangler assigned to the film will provide all horses to be used in the film.
There is pay for these positions, varied by experience.

Good Drivers Needed To Be Taught To Operate 1920s Cars
A major motion picture, soon to film in Oklahoma, is looking for Native American skilled drivers to be taught to drive period automobiles from the 1920’s, to appear for multiple days in the project.
These Native American persons, male or female, aged 21-60, must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
They will be taught to drive difficult 1920’s vehicles in a driving school beginning April 5.
Filming and training is in the Bartlesville/Pawhuska/Osage County area of Oklahoma from the end of April until late summer.
Pay for the drivers is $15/hour with a guarantee of 8 hours per day. Any week over 40 hours will incur overtime.

Teens value authenticity. That’s why they’re unapologetic about their dueling, clashing, multidimensional identities, because they are being true to themselves. From football players who star in their schools’ musicals to rock band drummers who aspire to become fashion designers to a jewelry maker who likes to box, inside every teen are different “you’s” and we want to proudly embrace every single one of them.
We are looking for all teens that have multiple talents and passions. The passions we’d love to see, but are not limited to have been listed below. Please note, these are just a few ideas and we are OPEN to ALL PASSIONS:
We are not looking for “actors” per say, so please don’t have the teen focus their passion only on acting. We’re looking for multifaceted teens that encompass their curiosity.
Let’s bring our commercial to life in a way that is relatable, authentic, and reflective of the way teens express themselves today. To do so, we’ll capture TikTok-style video content from real life teens that showcase the fun and different identities they inhabit. We are looking for everyday teens. They do not need to be influencers with a lot of followers, or a name everyone recognizes on YouTube. We are looking to find people who are creating their own content, the way they want to with no rules, just their authentic teen selves
Pay:
– $500 session fee per remote shoot day (talent will film 1 day)
– $100 session fee per remote rehearsal day (1 rehearsal day- assume it to be at most 2-3 hours per talent)
IF YOU APPEAR IN THE FINAL EDIT OF THE COMMERCIAL:

Starting from February 20th to the 21st, Fortnite’s Short Nite will feature 12 movies.
Fortnite is changing the video game industry with a short film festival. The festival will stream a series of animated films from international directors and writers. The series, which is 30 minutes in length, will run continuously in the battle royale multiplayer game for 24 hours starting on February 20 at 2 p.m. ET.
Some of the notable short films include Bench from director Rich Webber, who is currently listed for a BAFTA award. Bluezoo Animation Studio’s Lynx & Birds will also appear in the video game film festival.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Letitia Wright, Lupita Nyong’o, Winston Duke, and Angela Bassett are all expected to reprise their roles in the sequel as Shuri, Nakia, M’Baku, and Ramonda, respectively.
Wright is reportedly set to “take on a more prominent role” in Black Panther 2.Meanwhile, Narcos: Mexico star Tenoch Huerta is in talks to play one of the villains. It is not clear if Danai Gurira and Daniel Kaluuya will return as Okoye and W’Kabi, respectively, but Martin Freeman previously expected to be back as CIA agent Everett Ross.
Marvel has not commented on any of the reported castings. But, during Disney Investor Day in December 2020, it was confirmed the sequel would explore “all of the rich and varied characters” from the first movie.
Michael B. Jordan’s intense character could also return, potentially in flashbacks.

Black Panther 2 was scheduled for July 8, 2022. According to The Hollywood Reporter, filming will now start on the sequel in Atlanta in July 2021 for upwards of six months. That was reported before the release date delay, so it’s unclear if that’s still the case.
There are currently four Marvel movies scheduled for release in 2022, including Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (March 25), Thor: Love and Thunder (May 6), and Captain Marvel 2 (November 11).
What is Black Panther 2 about?
Ryan Cooler said he wanted to explore what T’Challa would be like as king, especially given how different the character is compared to comic books.
He said: “I’d be really interested to see, you know, what kind of king he is with experience and how that affects his performance in the stories.”
Kevin Feige hinted that he wanted to explore more of Wakandan history in the sequel, which could mean a prequel instead of a sequel.
“Towards the end of the movie, T’Challa retakes the herb and encounters his father, where he’s like, ‘Hey, man. We’ve screwed up, and I want to change it’,” he told Entertainment Weekly.
“There’s that moment where all of the ancestors come behind T’Chaka. We would joke and go, ‘I want to see… what’s their story? What’s that story? Who was Bashenga, the first king of Wakanda? Who’s that third to the left, behind T’Chaka? What was their story in Wakanda in 1938? That would be cool’.
“It all starts as conversations like that. The more audiences want to see these stories, the more opportunities we have to explore different places and time.”

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is continuing to expand. According to POC Culture, Marvel Studios is currently casting two people to play Mayan characters in a production that is supposed to start filming soon. However, the website does not say which project it is. However, according to Murphy’s Multiverse, it has been hypothesized to be Black Panther 2, since the production start is lining up with the timing of casting and the film’s projected start date.
The two characters are a female named Zyanya and a male character named “Cadmael.” Zyanya is described as a warrior, and the character casting call suggests the actress has a strong background in dance and fighting. Cadmael character breakdown means casting directors are looking for someone at least 6 feet tall, and the character is described as both healthy and loyal. In addition to people of Mayan descent, producers are open to North and South American descent people.
It’s important to note that there are no such characters with these two names in the comics books, so that these characters may be just codenames. Given that there aren’t too many Mayan characters in the comics, it could be new characters altogether.
If these characters show up in the Black Panther sequel, it would be interesting to see how they are connected to Wakanda.
