Weeds is a comedy series created by Jenji Kohan and produced by Tilted Productions. The show centers on Nancy Botwin, played by Mary-Louise Parker, a widowed mom of two boys who starts selling marijuana to support her family after her husband dies of a heart attack. Over time, however, her and her family become tangled up in a host of illegal activities.

When the show first premiered on Showtime in August 2005, Weeds earned the channel’s highest ratings. In 2010, TV Guide Network bought the airing rights, providing an edited version of the show to the audiences, free of Showtime’s subscription services. This hot show has won several awards including two Satellite Awards, a Golden Globe Award, Writers Guild of America Award, an Emmy Award, and a Young Artist Award.

Dexter is an American television drama series that first debuted on Showtime on October 1, 2006. The series follows Dexter Morgan, played by Michael C. hall, a blood spatter analyst for the fictional Miami Metro Police Department who is an undercover serial killer. Set in Miami, the show’s first season was largely based on the novel Darkly Dreaming Dexter by Jeff Lindsay, the first of his Dexter series novels. Subsequent seasons have changed independent of Lindsay’s works, and was adpated for television by screen writer James Manos, Jr., who wrote the fist episode. Even though individual seasons have varied in critical reception, but the show has been mostly positive. On December 14, 2006, Michael C. Hall was nominated for a Golden Globe Award in the category Best Actor in a Television Drama Series for playing dexter and was again renominated in 2010 and later won the award

Dexter has been recently renewed for another two seasons, and Season 8 will be the show’s last season, and that they know how the show is going to end. Dexter features such actors as Michael C. Hall, Jennifer Carpenter, Desmond Harrington, C.S Lee, and Lauren Velez.

Curb Your Enthusiasm is an American comedy series produced and broadcasted by HBO. The first season started in 2000. But, as of 2011, it has created over 80 episodes over eight seasons. The show was created by Seinfeld creator Larry David, who stars as a fictionalized version of himself. The plots and subplots of the episodes are often established in an outline by David and then the dialogue is largely improvised by the actors themselves.  Similar to Seinfeld, the subject matter of Curb your Enthusiasm often involves the tiny things of daily life, and often revolves around Larry David’s problems and social conventions and expectations.

CBS “Two and A Half Men” Casting Information

Two and a Half Men is a hit American sitcom that premiered first in 2003. The show was originally based around a hedonistic jingle writer, Charlie Harper, his uptight brother, Alan, and Alan’s son, Jake. Charlie’s care-free sense of life complicates when his brother gets a divorce and moves into Charlie’s beach-front Malibu house. However, the show changed course on their ninth season, focusing more on Alan moving on after the death of his brother Charlie with his new friend, and room mate, Walden Schmidt, played by Ashton Kutcher, who is also facing problems after a bad divorce. Eventually, all three coming  together and forming a new family unit.

The show had their fair share of controversy. In 2011, CBS and Warner Bros. wanted to end production of the eigth season after Charlie Sheen’s disbaraging comments about the show’s creator and producer, Chuck Lorre. Eventually, Charlie Sheen was fired from the show on March 7th. The ninth season then premiered with Charlie, killed off and introduced Ashton Kutcher, his replacement.

“Las Vegas Legends” Professional Soccer Team is Casting Dancers for the 2012-13 Season

Las Vegas Legends Professional arena soccer team is looking for dancers for their all female dance team. The Dance team will be hired for the 2012-2013 season. Amanda Sizemore is the choreographer, and if you are selected for the team, the dancers will be required to attend two practices a week to learn a total of ten dance numbers for the season.

Practices will begin in September, and the regular season will run from Nov. 1, 2012 to March 2013. The team will entertain the crowd for at least ten home games at The Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, and with the possibility of traveling and performing at away games.
