Gossip Girls is a teen drama TV series based upon the book series written by Cecily von Ziegesar. The series starts with the return of Upper East Side “it” girl, Serena van der Woodsen played by Blake Lively, from a boarding school in Cornwall, Connecticut. The show has received several nominations including seventeen Teen Choice awards, and the CW network has renewed the show for the sixth and final season. The show primarily films in New York City.Filming begins this summer and into Fall 2012.
