Curb Your Enthusiasm is an American comedy series produced and broadcasted by HBO. The first season started in 2000. But, as of 2011, it has created over 80 episodes over eight seasons. The show was created by Seinfeld creator Larry David, who stars as a fictionalized version of himself. The plots and subplots of the episodes are often established in an outline by David and then the dialogue is largely improvised by the actors themselves. Similar to Seinfeld, the subject matter of Curb your Enthusiasm often involves the tiny things of daily life, and often revolves around Larry David’s problems and social conventions and expectations.
