Whitney, Jasmine and Angela have always fallen for the wrong kinds of men. All from fatherless homes, they can’t tell the good men from the bad ones; the honest from the liars; the available from the unavailable. Now, the three of them find themselves heartbroken at the same time, with no one to pick up the pieces but themselves.

Whitney’s first love Jeff has promised her the world but didn’t tell her she had to share it with his wife, now she finds it hard to let go of another woman’s husband. Jasmine is devastated when she learns that her son’s father has moved on with someone else so she decides to use their son as bait to get him back. Those vindictive ways throw her into the arms of many men who don’t seem to satisfy her needs. And Angela is in a hidden comatose state after her husband decides he no longer wants to be with her but doesn’t want a divorce and has left her to figure out why. When you find out why he doesn’t want her will shock you but what will shock you even more is what she plansas an attempt at getting revenge.

All three women must overcome the love they once shared with the now “Unavailable” men that’s left them hopeless but hopefully better off.

As the mysteries of the men unfold, each woman must come to terms with their loss in different ways. Revenge. Despair. Rebirth.  New  love.  This heartfelt comedic stage play has it all. Make sure you don’t miss the new play that will have you laughing and crying in equal measure.

The writers and directors of ‘The Butler’ are now casting series leads for a new drama pilot are currently seeking two series leads.

Looks like FOX plans on exploring the world of hip-hop as the network has recently picked up Empire, a new drama from The Butler’s Lee Daniels and Danny Strong. According to The Hollywood Reporter, The series centers on the world of a hip-hip empire. The drama will feature original and new music.

This will be Lee Daniel’s first time directing a TV series. While, Strong has had a long history with a background in TV writing with HBO’s Emmy-nominated series Recount and Game Change. 

Now casting directors are searching for two series leads of the new drama pilot. They are looking for an actor to portray “Hakeem” an African American male in his 20s, that is beautiful, ripped and charming. The talent must also be a skilled singer and rapper. The second role is for “Jamal” an African American male, that is 25, he is attractive, sensitive and a skilled singer.

Grant Wilfley Casting posted a casting call seeking actors to work as extras in the CBS series ‘Person of Interest’.

CBS new hit Drama “Person of Interest” is about a former CIA agent who is hired Harold Finch, played by Michael Emerson, a mysterious billionaire computer nerd and is living by an “assumed identity”. Finch explains that after 9/11 the created a computer system for the government that uses information from surveillance to predict future terrorist attacks. Finch figures out that the program also predicts ordinary crimes, and while the government is not interested in that information.

Finch hires a CIA agent to stop such crimes. The show stars Taraji P. Henson, Michael Emerson, and Kevin Chapman. Filming begins this summer and is scheduled to be filmed in NYC

Chiet Productions is currently casting various secondary and extra roles for an upcoming short film being shot around D.C./Maryland for a week in mid-late March. Auditions for secondary roles will be held Monday, February 17th from 6-10pm in Rockville.

‘A Sort of Homecoming’ Starring Disney’s Laura Marano Open Casting Call in Louisiana

Producers, Casting directors and Filmmakers will hold an open casting call for extras next week in Lafayette, Louisiana.

The producers of the film “A Sort of Homecoming” will hold the call for adults 18-year-old and older.

The call will take place Monday, February 3 at the Staybridge Hotel on Kaliste Saloom Road. The call begins at 4 p.m. and ends at 8 p.m.

‘A Sort of Homecoming’ follows a news producer who is successful, but withdrawn, as a result of problems that ensue during a high school national debate tournament.

The indie drama film stars Laura Marano of the Disney Channel’s “Austin & Allie.” Marano stars as an introverted songwriter on Disney Channel’s “Austin & Ally,” which is in its third season.

Most of the filming takes place in Lafayette and will begin on February 11.

We are casting extras (SAG-AFTRA and NON-UNION) for an Illinois Lottery commercial, which tentatively films with a handful of extras on Monday, 2/3/14 , and then a much larger group on Tuesday, 2/4/14. The rate for non-union extras is $75/8, overtime will apply if you work over 8 hours. The rate for SAG-AFTRA members is commercial BG scale (unlimited). The usage covers Midwest regional. Cable, wild spot, industrial and web. There is a non-compete clause for casino spots/advertising. The exact location has not been confirmed, but we believe it will be in Aurora, IL, so you will need your own transportation to the location. NO EXCEPTIONS. Casting directors recently posted a casting call looking for a wide variety of extras with vans, trucks, cars, and SUVs to work on the NBC series ‘Crisis’. Talents that are selected will have their car featured in the scene.“CRISIS” centers on an idealistic Secret Service agent who finds himself at the center of an international crisis on his first day on the job. In his search for the truth, he will have to cross moral and legal lines as he navigates the highest levels of power and corruption (NBC). “CRISIS” features , ,  and Lance Gross from Tyler Perry’s House of Payne.

PROJECT: Crisis
DATE: Monday, 2/3/14
LOCATION: Near McCormick Place – Exterior
RATE: $75/8 + $35 Car Bump (it is possible you may be selected for a role that doesn’t involve a car, in which case the rate would be minus the car bump).

We are looking for people with VANS/MINI-VANS/PICK-UP TRUCKS/UTILITY VEHICLES/SUV AND CARS – some of you will be pulled for other scenes and be used with your car, others may be pulled for a few other roles that do not require a car, but because the decision may be made on set, we need everyone to have vehicle.

2) Include your name, number, age, height and weight in the body of the email.

3) Attach a recent jpeg photo of yourself and your vehicle (if you have it), and include the YEAR, MAKE, MODEL AND COLOR of the vehicle. Be specific about the color. Give us a general idea about the working condition of your vehicle and its exterior – fair/good/excellent – for example.

4) Note if you have business attire.

5) Please let us know IF you applied for Senate Scenes on Crisis or Illinois Lottery Commercial on Monday, 2/3 as well.

If you answered yes to either of these, we want to hear from you! We are looking for real people who are fun and outgoing for our new home series on W Network and HGTV.

WHO LIVES HERE? is a lifestyle series about how well peoples’ personalities match their homes. Armed with first impressions of each other only, five strangers will tour each other’s houses together without knowing which home belongs to whom. Using their best powers of social perception and impressions of one another, they will try to figure who lives in which home and earn the title of “Best Domestic Detective”. In each episode, the person who successfully figures out who lives where will be awarded $1000! Don’t miss out!
