A casting call is being held for an Emerson College BFA short film. We are looking to cast males and females, from their mid 20’s to their early 60’s. The casting call will be held Saturday, February 8th and Sunday, February 9th at 150 Boylston Street, Boston, MA. Auditions are by APPOINTMENT ONLY. Logline: An uprising director deals with the moral dilemma of his famous actresses’ well being and the responsibility of making his film a success.

  5. [George] 30 to 40 years old, another producer, also a New Yorker. Obnoxious but a bit more logical than Jeff.

AMC’s pilot ‘Halt and Catch Fire’ is set in the early 1980s, it dramatizes the personal computing boom through the eyes of a visionary, Joe (Lee Pace); an engineer, Gordon (Scoot McNairy); and a prodigy, Cameron (Mackenzie Davis), whose innovations directly confront the corporate behemoths of the time.

NBC Cancels ‘Sean Saves The World’ and Shuts Down Production

NBC’s comedy series ‘Sean Saves The World’ has officially got the axe.

According to Deadline.com, NBC has stopped production for the new series.

Sean Saves The World has struggled in the ratings, most recently logging a 0.7 rating in adults 18-49. “We like (MJ Fox). We like Sean Hayes’ show a lot. Creatively, we think they’re good shows, and we’re really unhappy that we can’t find an audience for them in those time periods,”NBC chairman Bob Greenblatt said at TCA a week ago. 

“Sean Saves The World” starred Sean Hayes as a divorced gay father juggling a career and raising a daughter. The series will join the NBC Thursday graveyard, along with “Welcome to the Family” which was cancelled in October of 2013.

My name is Christopher Moore and I’m serving as the producer and writer for the Atlanta’s CW first original web-series called “The Hunters”. We will be shooting the first episode over the course of 2 days (4 hours max per day) tentatively during February 28th-March 8th. This position is volunteer based so NO PAY; however,your working with a creditable production house where the option for a full length season is HIGHLY possible!

This will be considered a blind casting so ethnicity and sexuality doesn’t matter per character; however, Tyler & Troy are fraternal twins. Along with single-person submissions, acting duos will be accepted as well. The deadline for submissions is Tuesday, February 18th and a casting call will be on that Friday.

Also, the agency that these characters come from will be the agency that we will use for the duration of the project once it’s turned into a full-length series.

*Title: The Hunters

*Genre: Comedy/Action

*Series Synopsis: Tyler and Troy find stability while working for the Atlanta’s CW Television Network after being in foster care since 1. The only problem is that Tyler is obsessed with finding their biological parents while Troy is focused on securing his future now. An old friend, Peyton, gives them a package that was sent from their foster parents containing a wooden box holding a yellow apple and a picture of an abandon building. Thinking nothing of it, Tyler eats the piece of fruit and convinces Troy to do the same. Minutes later, they obtain paranormal abilities but act as though nothing has happened. Tyler continues to grows closer to finding their biological parents while dangerous attacks from a mutant task force tests Troy and Tyler’s relationship. Will they settle for not knowing their past or uncover the unknown?

From Dusk Till Dawn director Robert Rodriguez unveiled plans for the show a couple of months ago, while also unveiling plans for an entire new cable network aimed at young-adult audiences called El Rey, which he has co-created, partnering with Univision Communications Inc.

The English-language El Rey – which is set to premiere this December nation-wide with initial carriage via Comcast – would air From Dusk Till Dawn as its first scripted series. Robert Rodriguez, is heavily involved in getting the network off the ground, will be writing, producing and directing the From Dusk Till Dawn series himself. The series will expand on the story and characters from his original film and providing more Aztec mythology. There has not been a report if the two sequels will be included in the television series since, Robert Rodriguez only worked as a producer on those projects.

Producers for ABC’s new television pilot “Secrets & Lies” are now seeking actors.

ABC’s new television drama “Secrets & Lies” will start filming in Wilmington, North Carolina and casting directors are currently seeking extras to work on the project.

“Secrets & Lies” is an American adaptation of a six-part Australian series. The plot follows a man that becomes the prime suspect in a young boy’s murder leading him on a quest to find the killer.

The Hollywood Reporter recently, reported on the new ABC television pilot.

The original Secrets & Lies, which won’t bow in Australia until 2014, stars Martin Henderson as a patriarch who becomes the prime suspect in the murder of a young boy when he finds the body. The American adaptation, which hails from ABC Studios and Aaron Kaplan’s Kapital Entertainment, will also be produced by Australia-based Hoodlum.

Ashli Bogart Extras Casting is working with the show and asks anyone interested to apply online.

The pilot for “Secrets & Lies” is scheduled to start shooting at the end of February.
