Casting directors and producers for AMC’s new series ‘Halt and Catch Fire’ is now casting men and women to work as background extras in the series filming in Atlanta.

Extras Casting Atlanta posted a casting call looking for a wide range of talents for featured roles in the series.

Looking for a couple of additional upscale restaurant patrons — Men and women 30’s to 60’s generally — Also looking for a couple of bellhops and parking attendants that are more 20’s and 30’s and a size 40 or 42 jacket — all ideally with hair that can pass for 1983 — Must be available for filming all day Wednesday 1/29 and for a fitting tomorrow late morning or early afternoon — email a recent photo and all clothing sizes and email to: [email protected] ASAP
AMC’s pilot ‘Halt and Catch Fire’ is set in the early 1980s, it dramatizes the personal computing boom through the eyes of a visionary, Joe (Lee Pace); an engineer, Gordon (Scoot McNairy); and a prodigy, Cameron (Mackenzie Davis), whose innovations directly confront the corporate behemoths of the time.
The project was written on spec by Chris Cantwell and Chris Rogers, who will exec produce with Lisco, Mark Johnson and Melissa Bernstein. The pilot was directed by Juan José Campanella.
