Pay RATES:  

• Filming dates $135.00/12 hour, overtime if applicable +$25 if booked with your vehicle
• Covid tests: $33.75/2 hours

ROLES CASTING:

• WAITERS & BUS BOY with CAR – Male, all ethnicities, age range 20-45, conservative, professional, should have some previous Wait Staff/Server experience so you know how to carry a tray of food/drinks. MUST also have a vehicle that is not red or white that can be used in the scene. 
• BARTENDER with CAR – Male or Female, all ethnicities, age range 21-50, conservative, professional, should have some previous Bartender experience so you look like you know what you’re doing behind a bar. MUST also have a vehicle that is not red or white that can be used in the scene
• PATRONS with RUN DOWN OLD CARS – Male or Female, all ethnicities, age range 18-70, variety of restaurant patron types, MUST also have an older run down vehicle that is not red or white that can be used in the scene. The older and more beat up, the better

Logline:

The Young Wife comes from writer and director Tayarisha Poe (Selah and the Spades). It follows Celestina, 29, on the day of her first wedding. Or not a wedding, exactly, but a party. A party where there’s movement, and Celestina is out of sync. The guests flood in; a storm approaches.
