We are excited to announce a casting call for the SAG-AFTRA feature film “SLANTED,” set to be filmed in Atlanta, Georgia, from June to July 2024. We are seeking talented young actors and performers for the role of Young Joan, a supporting character.

Job Responsibilities:

• Portray the character of Young Joan, a pivotal supporting role in the film.

• Deliver lines and perform scenes as directed by the film’s director and production team.

• Participate in rehearsals and table reads as scheduled.

• Collaborate with fellow cast members to bring authenticity and depth to the character.

• Maintain professionalism on set and adhere to the filming schedule.

Requirements:

• Must be a young actor or performer who speaks Mandarin fluently.

• Prior acting experience is preferred but not required. Newcomers to the industry are welcome.

• Ability to take direction well and perform in front of the camera.

• Availability for the entire filming schedule from June to July 2024 in Atlanta, GA.

• Must be a member of SAG-AFTRA or willing to join if cast.

Compensation Details:

• This is a paid role in accordance with SAG-AFTRA guidelines and rates.

• Allow the production team to capture various aspects of your life, including doctor visits, preparations for the baby, interactions with family and friends, and other relevant moments.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure an authentic and respectful portrayal of your story.

Requirements:

• Women aged 18 and above.
• Must be actively planning or currently undergoing the process of becoming a mother without a partner.
• Willingness to share personal experiences and be filmed in various settings.
