Job Description

A live sports production at Tom Benson PFHOF Stadium in Canton, Ohio, is seeking a dependable Runner to help the broadcast crew manage essential game-day logistics. This hands-on role works across different areas of the production, helping with local errands, crew requests, material distribution, and coordination for broadcast personnel. The Runner should be comfortable receiving assignments throughout the day, navigating the local area efficiently, and helping solve practical needs as they arise. A possible setup day may take place before game day.

Job Responsibilities

• Handle scheduled and last-minute errands for the live broadcast production team.
• Pick up and deliver supplies, production materials, and other requested items.
• Assist with transportation and logistical needs for announcers and crew personnel.
• Distribute important information and materials to designated production areas.
• Coordinate with supervisors to understand priorities and complete assignments efficiently.
• Help production departments address routine operational needs throughout the event.
• Remain available for additional tasks as the broadcast schedule develops.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Previous experience as a Runner, Production Assistant, broadcast crew member, or event staff member is preferred.
• Reliable transportation and familiarity with Canton and the surrounding area are preferred.
• Strong ability to manage time and complete assignments promptly.
• Clear communication and the ability to stay reachable throughout the production.
• Resourceful, dependable, and comfortable taking initiative when appropriate.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving live sports environment.
• General understanding of broadcast production operations is beneficial.
