Casting Kids for Skincare Commercial Campaign

Job Description
A national skincare brand is casting children ages 4 to 7 for an upcoming commercial and print campaign in Toronto. This project celebrates real kids with vibrant personalities and diverse backgrounds to help showcase the gentle care of Aveeno for Kids. Scenes will highlight playful, everyday moments that connect to skincare and confidence. All talent must be allergy-free to Aveeno products.

Job Responsibilities

  • Participate in a commercial and/or print shoot promoting children’s skincare

  • Perform simple, joyful actions while interacting naturally on camera

  • Follow light direction from the production team to ensure relaxed, real moments are captured

  • Represent inclusive beauty and personality across media platforms

Requirements

  • Children ages 4–7

  • Must not be allergic to Aveeno skincare products

  • Casting for the following roles:

    • Chinese or Asian/White mixed girl (makeup play)

    • White boy (active and adventurous)

    • East Asian boy (Chinese, Japanese, Korean, or Taiwanese)

    • Hispanic or South Asian girl

    • Black girl

  • Must be local to Toronto or able to work as a local hire

Compensation

  • Wardrobe: $75 for up to 2 hours

  • Session Fee: $600 for an 8-hour shoot day

  • Backup Session Fee: $600

  • Buyout Options (based on edit selection):

    • $5400 for motion and print (Broadcast TV, Digital, Social – 2 Years)

    • $2700 for print use only (OOH/Worldwide – 2 Years)

  • 2 kids will appear in motion and print; 3 will appear in print-only

  • Buyout is campaign-based and dependent on final cut
