Job Description
Sony Pictures is holding an open casting call for the lead role of Alec in the upcoming theatrical romantic comedy Fake Skating. Casting directors are searching for a charismatic young actor to portray the film’s hockey star. Job Responsibilities

Kids Hockey Player Commercial Casting
Job Description
A paid commercial is now casting kids who play hockey for an upcoming automotive brand campaign filming in the Greater Toronto Area. Casting directors are seeking outgoing boys and girls ages 6–12 who are comfortable on camera and enjoy playing hockey. No previous acting experience is required, making this an exciting opportunity for young athletes to appear in a major commercial.
Job Responsibilities
- Participate in a commercial production for a major automotive brand.
- Showcase hockey skills naturally on camera.
- Follow direction from the production team during filming.
- Attend an audition and wardrobe fitting if selected.
Requirements
- Boys and girls ages 6–12 who play hockey.
- Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
- Must live in the Greater Toronto Area and be able to film in Toronto.
- Outgoing, comfortable being filmed, and willing to participate in interviews.
- No acting experience required.
Compensation
- Wardrobe fitting: $75.
- Filming day: $600.
- Additional usage payment: $3,000 if featured in the final commercial.
- Total potential compensation: Up to $3,675.
