Logline:
Fleeing a troubled past, a woman rents a house in a quiet town—only to find reality unraveling around her, as buried fears take form and nightmares become lethal.
About the Project:
I love slow‑burn, atmospheric supernatural horror that is character‑driven and psychologically rooted. Serena is an intimate, introspective film that asks actors to dig emotionally and collaborate on creating layered performances. This is an indie micro‑budget production; key priorities are trust, reliability, and creative partnership.
Cast Needs (non‑union):
- Serena — Female, 27–35, any height. Lead. Intense emotional range; quiet strength; able to carry long, interior scenes.
- Izzy — Female, 25–31, 5'0"–5'10". Supporting. Playful, youthful, warm but tries not to show it.
- Dark Being — Male or Female, 25–45, any height. Physical performer; prefer experience with stunts or movement work. Requires comfort with eerie, nonverbal presence.
- Sam — Male, 38–45, 5'10"–6'4". Supporting. World‑weary, quietly authoritative, cynical.
- Elizabeth — Female, Caucasian/European, 45–56, 5’10”-6’1”. Supporting. Intense, imposing, creepy, reserved with a traditional/disciplined manner and an almost supernatural presence.
What I Offer:
- Reel footage and credit; meals on set; limited stipend — negotiable depending on role and experience.
- Filming in South Carolina (Nov-Jan TBA). Non‑union production.
How to Submit:
Email [email protected] with:
- Subject line: CASTING — [Role name] — Your Name
- Headshot and current resume (if available)
- Demo reel, self-tapes, or links to prior work (preferred)
- Short note (2–4 sentences): why you love horror and why this project interests you.
