Job Description
Seeking enthusiastic and outgoing talent to perform as mascots and guides for a live event in Tallahassee, FL. This is a fan-facing position where performers will engage and interact with event attendees, creating a fun and memorable experience. Applicants should be comfortable performing in costume or supporting mascot performers.
Job Responsibilities

Perform as a mascot in a full-body costume while engaging with event attendees.

Serve as a guide to escort and interact with attendees alongside mascot performers.

Maintain high energy, professionalism, and strong communication with guests.

Adhere to event dress code and company guidelines.
Requirements
-
Height requirement for mascot performers: 5’4″ – 5’10”.

Comfortable with public interaction in a performance setting.
-
Must be able to wear and move in a mascot costume.
-
Guides must be comfortable assisting performers and engaging with attendees.

Reliable transportation and punctuality are required.
Compensation
-
Rate: $30 per hour.
-
Hours: 4 hours paid.
-
Payment Terms: 1099 Independent Contractor. Payment is via company check mailed by USPS after the event (no same-day pay, no direct deposit).
Responsibilities Include:
- Managing and executing projects as assigned by the Marketing Manager
- Working with the Marketing Manager and key accounts to integrate PR campaigns with customer promotions
- Coordinating in-store service events and maintaining successful operation
- Building relationships with customers and communicating promotional services
- Working with the Marketing Manager to develop and refine measurement strategies for PR campaigns
- Development of promotional marketing materials and visual merchandising
- Developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and retail event personnel
- Keeping accurate and timely record of event traffic, production, and inventory
- Identifying new opportunities and efficiency innovations
- Position will be considered for senior campaign management roles based on performance

- 0-2 years’ experience in public relations, communications, marketing, sales OR internship in related field an asset.
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal & written.
- Ability to prioritize and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Level headed problem solver with a professional, service-oriented attitude
- Superb organizational and tracking skills with great attention to detail.
- Adaptable, dependable and responsible.
- Basic understanding of public relations, communications, and marketing concepts and sales strategy.
