Casting SAG Actors to Portray Karaoke Patrons of Thai Descent for “Denim and Diamonds”

Job Description: Waldron Casting is seeking SAG actors of Thai descent to portray karaoke patrons for the upcoming film Denim and Diamonds, filming in Montclair, NJ. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a fun and dynamic scene that will capture the energy of a karaoke night. Van transportation will be provided from Manhattan for those traveling to the shoot location.

Job Responsibilities:

• Portray a karaoke patron in a lively scene set in a karaoke bar.
• Follow the direction of the production team to deliver a believable performance.
• Participate in digital scanning for the creation of digital replicas, as outlined by the SAG Basic Agreement.
• Be prepared for a full day of filming with potential overtime.

Requirements:

• Must be a SAG-AFTRA member.
• Must be of Thai descent.
• Willing to sign a consent form for the creation of a digital replica for use in the film.

Compensation:

• Pay Rate: $216 for 8 hours (overtime applies for anything beyond 8 hours).
• Van transportation from Manhattan to the filming location in Montclair, NJ, will be provided.
