The upcoming psychological drama series The Body, created by Emmy-nominated writer-director Quinn Shephard (Under the Bridge), is now casting real dance groups to appear in a major dance competition scene. Described by Shephard as “a playful spin on teenage nightmares,” The Body is a gritty, raunchy teen psychodrama with a dash of Catholic horror — exploring girlhood, faith, and hysteria in a small-town setting.

After a dance-team initiation goes wrong, a group of Catholic school girls begin experiencing prophetic visions that spark mass hysteria across their community. The eight-episode series stars Kristina Bogic, Sara Boustany, Geena Meszaros, and Traitors winner Gabby Windey. Riley Keough serves as executive producer alongside Shephard and the Felix Culpa team.

The production is seeking dance teams or groups to bring authenticity and energy to a key competition sequence. Ideal applicants are members of existing dance schools or teams with matching costumes and choreography styles.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform choreographed dance routines as part of a competition scene

• Must provide a full-length photo standing against a light-colored wall (in swimsuit, shorts, or t-shirt)
