Job Description:
Theo Park Casting, known for Paddington and Ted Lasso, is seeking two young Scottish actors for an untitled TV project set to shoot in the UK in Spring/Summer 2025. The production is looking for authentic or perfectly accented Scottish talent to portray teenage characters in a compelling and dynamic storyline.

Roles:

  1. Boy – To portray age 15
  2. Girl – To portray age 17

Both roles require actors of dual heritage, specifically one Caucasian parent and one Black parent.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Accurately portray the character’s emotions and mannerisms in a way that aligns with the show’s vision.
  • Work collaboratively with the director and production team to develop the character and bring authenticity to the role.
  • Deliver lines in a genuine Scottish accent or with a flawless imitation, ensuring the character’s authenticity.

Requirements:

  • Young actors to play ages 15 (Boy) and 17 (Girl).
  • Must be of dual heritage: one Caucasian parent and one Black parent.
  • A genuine Scottish accent or the ability to perform with a perfect Scottish accent is essential.
  • Previous acting experience is not required, but enthusiasm and the ability to follow direction are important.
  • Applicants under 18 must provide the contact details of a parent or guardian.

Compensation:

  • Compensation details will be discussed directly with selected applicants based on industry standards.

Casting Call for Basketball Coach – “Coach” for “Project Sports Drink” Commercial

Job Responsibilities:

  • Portray “Coach,” a dedicated and experienced basketball coach who motivates his players to reach their full potential.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and an ability to deliver motivational and impactful performances on set.
  • Work closely with the director and production team to ensure the character’s role as a supportive and inspiring coach is effectively conveyed.

Requirements:

  • Male, aged 45-60, any ethnicity (BIPOC preferred).
  • Must have real coaching experience or a deep understanding of the game of basketball.
  • Comfortable participating in a 12-hour shoot day and a wardrobe fitting session.
  • Must have the ability to portray an authoritative and motivational figure on screen.

Compensation:

  • Wardrobe Fitting: $75 for a 2-hour session ($50/hour).
  • Session Fee: $600 for a 10-hour day, with overtime at $75/hour.
  • Additional buyout: $3000 for a 6-month term, with the option to renew for two additional 6-month terms with a 10% increase.
