Job Description:
An exciting short film project is being shot in Savannah the week of January 12th, and we’re seeking background extras for a few fun and versatile roles. This non-union film offers a chance to work on a professional production while showcasing your talent. Extras will play various roles and may be reused across scenes.

Job Responsibilities:

• Portray specific characters in background roles, including:
  • Bar patrons and shoppers at a grocery store.
  • Diner patrons in a diner scene.
  • Airport passengers (with luggage) in an airport scene.
• Follow directions from the production team to ensure smooth shooting.
• Be prepared to work on location in Tybee Island or Savannah.

Requirements:

• Open to all ethnicities, aged 18 years or older.
• Must provide a recent photo along with contact details.

Compensation:

• $100/day.

Casting Call for Featured Background Musicians – Netflix Proof of Concept Short (Nashville, TN)

Job Description:
On Location Casting is seeking proficient piano, violin, viola, and drum players for a Netflix Proof of Concept short film shooting in Nashville, TN. Selected candidates will portray 1950s-era musicians in featured background roles. Applicants must be local to Nashville and capable of miming believably to playback.

Job Responsibilities:

• Portray musicians in a realistic and professional manner.
• Perform with appropriate 1950s-era style and body language to match playback direction.
• Follow all on-set instructions provided by the production team.
• Arrive on time and maintain professionalism throughout the shoot.

Roles Available:

1. Piano Player
   • Male, Black, age range 20-60
   • Proficient piano player, capable of miming realistically to playback.
   • Clean-cut, no visible tattoos/piercings, conservative 1950s look.
2. Violin Player
   • Male, White, age range 20-60
   • Proficient violin player, able to mime believably.
   • Clean-cut, short hair, conservative 1950s appearance.
3. Viola Player
   • Male, White, age range 20-60
   • Proficient viola player, able to mime believably.
   • No visible tattoos/piercings, short hair, 1950s style.
4. Drummer
   • Male, White or Black, age range 20-60
   • Proficient drum player, able to mime believably to playback.
   • Clean-cut, conservative appearance with no tattoos/piercings.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in the respective instrument (piano, violin, viola, or drums).
• Must meet the specified age range (20-60) and appearance requirements.
• Must be a local hire in Nashville, TN (transportation/accommodation not provided).
• Must be available for the full day of filming.

Compensation Details:

• Pay rate: $125 for up to 12 hours (paid for the full day even if wrapped earlier).
• SAG-AFTRA Ultra Low Budget Contract.
• No additional agency compensation if represented.
