Job Description

A new live-action comedy project is seeking funny, fearless, and creative kids in the Greater Toronto Area to join the core ensemble of “Sketch City.” The project follows a group of kids running their own chaotic online sketch channel and is looking for young performers with strong comedic instincts, imagination, and a willingness to make bold creative choices. Union and non-union performers may apply.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform as part of a six-member kid comedy ensemble.
• Participate in fast-paced live-action comedy and sketch scenes.
• Bring natural humor, imagination, and expressive energy to performances.
• Improvise and make confident creative choices when appropriate.
• Perform scripted comedy in a casual and authentic style.
• Collaborate generously with other young performers and build on ensemble ideas.

Requirements

• Ages 10–14.
• All genders and backgrounds are welcome.
• Must live in the Greater Toronto Area.
• Naturally funny, imaginative, expressive, and comfortable performing comedy.
• Strong improvisational instincts or an ability to create spontaneously.
• Comfortable performing scripted material naturally.
• Collaborative and excited to work as part of an ensemble.
• Union and non-union performers may apply.

Real People Casting – Native Irish and Australian English Speakers

Job Description

A real people casting project is seeking Vancouver-based individuals who speak English with an authentic native Irish or Australian accent. This opportunity is designed for everyday people rather than professional performers, making it ideal for individuals who can bring a genuine voice, personality, and natural delivery to the project.

Job Responsibilities

• Participate in an in-person screening in Vancouver
• Speak naturally using an authentic Irish or Australian accent
• Participate in a voice-focused casting process
• Follow direction provided during the screening and production process
• Deliver a genuine, conversational performance if selected

Requirements

• Must be based in Vancouver
• Must speak English with a native Irish or Australian accent
• Professional acting experience is not required
• Open to real people from a variety of backgrounds and professions
• Must be comfortable participating in an in-person screening
• Must be eligible to participate as non-union talent

Compensation

• $125 CAD per hour for attending the screening
• $125 CAD per hour if hired
• $100,000 USD buyout for a 3-year term if selected and hired

Silent Review Promo – Non-Union Talent

Job Description:

We are seeking English-speaking, French-speaking, and bilingual women, aged 25-35, for a commercial involving the “Silent Review Trend.” Talent will review products in a silent, expressive, and non-verbal manner using gestures and facial expressions. This promo aims to engage audiences with fun and relatable content.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review products silently, focusing on non-verbal communication.
• Express opinions clearly through gestures and expressions.
• Take direction well.

Requirements:

• Ability to perform without spoken dialogue.
• Women, aged 25-35, all ethnicities.

Compensation:

• $500/Session, $1000/Usage (One year digital).
