A paid opportunity is available for an experienced Production Designer to join the short horror film Heaven’s Corner. The production team is seeking a creative professional who can help execute an established visual concept by sourcing props, creating set pieces, and designing the film’s primary location.

Set in a Latino burlesque club, the film follows a bartender who receives a mysterious package from a former girlfriend and is warned not to look inside. The project is part of the Silverlake Scream Show horror anthology and will be filmed at a real bar and burlesque venue in East Los Angeles.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee production design for the short film.
  • Source, create, and manage props required for filming.
  • Execute set dressing and visual styling based on established creative direction.
  • Collaborate closely with the directors and production team.
  • Prepare the filming location to match the project’s visual requirements.
  • Assist with production design logistics before and during filming.

Requirements

  • Experience in production design, art direction, set decoration, or related roles.
  • Ability to source and create props within production timelines.
  • Strong organizational and creative problem-solving skills.
