A new independent film, “TOK,” is casting non-union featured background and extras for an exciting production. Filming will take place in Montclair, NJ on select dates. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in a professional film setting while working with an experienced team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform as featured background talent or an extra in various roles
- Follow direction from the production team to help bring scenes to life
- Maintain professionalism on set and engage naturally in character
- Be available for scheduled filming dates
Roles Available:
- Creepy Old Guy: Male, any ethnicity, ages 50-65
- Beauty Pageant Contestants: Female, any ethnicity, ages 10-12
- Young Catherine: Female, Caucasian, ages 10-11 (brown hair, brown eyes)
- Pageant Moms: Female, any ethnicity, ages 35-50
- Town Dad: Male, any ethnicity, ages 40-50
- Teen Party Goers: Male/Female, any ethnicity, ages 18-25 (to play 17)
- Young Barbara: Female, Caucasian, ages 18-21 (to play 17, blonde hair, blue eyes)
- Homeless Woman: Female, any ethnicity, ages 40-55 (preferably removable dentures or missing teeth a plus)
Requirements:
- Must be non-union
- Comfortable being on camera and taking direction
- Available for filming on March 13th, 21st, and 28th in Montclair, NJ
- Submit headshot and resume for consideration
Compensation:
- $80 per day
- Food and credit provided
- Experience working on a professional film set
