Teens wanted for NZ-based film!

We are looking for those between the ages of 14 – 18 to portray a male character who is 16 years old. 

Must be of Hawaiian, Māori, or Polynesian descent and already based in New Zealand. 

No previous acting experience is required; we are looking for those who are athletic, tall in stature, and preferably those with light eyes, as we are matching this character to have a family resemblance to actors already cast. We are open to all eye colors.

Feature Film – Elder Pacific Islander Male (Speaking Role)

Job Description
Casting an elderly Pacific Islander man for a speaking role in a professional feature film shooting in February 2026. Production is looking for someone with natural storytelling charm—someone who enjoys being in the spotlight, telling stories, or delivering light-hearted jokes. This role is ideal for a community elder who may have never acted before but has the personality and presence to shine on screen.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform a speaking role with clarity and confidence

  • Bring warmth, personality, and authenticity to the character

  • Follow direction from the director and production team

  • Participate in rehearsals or prep as required

  • Contribute genuine storytelling energy to the film

Requirements

  • Male, Pacific Islander

  • Ideally 80+ years old

  • Slim build

  • Must be based in Auckland

  • Fluent in English

  • Comfortable on camera and enjoying storytelling or performing

Compensation
