A commercial project is seeking skilled and confident rollerbladers based in Auckland for an exciting shoot. The production is looking for talent who can match the look of the lead actor and perform short rollerblading sequences with ease and control. This is a paid opportunity ideal for performers who are active, expressive, and comfortable on camera.
Job Responsibilities

Perform rollerblading scenes safely and confidently during filming

Work collaboratively with the production and creative teams

Follow on-set direction and maintain professionalism throughout the shoot

Participate in wardrobe fittings and prep as required
Requirements

Māori or Pasifika talent, ages 27–38

Height: 169cm (5’7”)

Must be based in Auckland and experienced in rollerblading
Compensation

$500 per day for up to 3 days of work

This is a one-of-a-kind in-home shoot where your space will be transformed into a fully immersive, interactive light and sound experience. The campaign aims to celebrate resilience and humor by spotlighting real families and their quirky or inspiring household stories. Whether it’s a funny disaster or an uplifting comeback, this shoot brings storytelling into your own home — no acting experience required.
Job Responsibilities

Share a memorable household moment, from funny disasters to family triumphs

Participate in an in-home production experience, including a full-day shoot

Be yourselves on camera—no acting required, just natural reactions

Host the film crew in your home (which will be temporarily reimagined)

Invite up to 10 family members or friends to participate on shoot day
Requirements

Must currently be a Mercury customer

Household must be based in Auckland (renters and owners welcome)

Home does not need to be fancy—just safe and suitable for filming

Open to all family types: solo, blended, extended, LGBTQIA+, or multigenerational

Must be comfortable relocating to a hotel for up to 3 days before and 1 day after filming (covered by production)
Compensation

Household: $15,000 NZD (up to 6 people), less tax

Additional location fee for temporary use and redecoration of your home

Hotel accommodation costs covered during prep and post-filming days

Adults: $1,500 NZD each, less tax

An exciting opportunity is available for a Japanese female actor to star in an upcoming short film set to shoot in the South Island of New Zealand. No previous acting experience is required—just a passion for storytelling and a willingness to step into a leading role.
Job Responsibilities
- Portray a lead character in a professionally produced short film
- Participate in rehearsals and filming days to bring the story to life
- Follow direction from the production team to create an authentic and engaging performance
Requirements
- Japanese female, aged 20s-30s
- Must legally work and travel within New Zealand
- Must already be based in New Zealand
- Available for four shoot days + rehearsals between June – September 2025
