Jordan. This project promises to be one of the most thrilling experiences of the spring, and we’re looking for talented individuals to portray a 1930s Chinese grocery employee in Donaldsonville, LA.
Role: 1930s Chinese Grocery Employee
Job Details:
- Filming Dates: Tuesday, April 23rd, and Wednesday, April 24th. One selected individual will also work on Thursday, April 25th only.
- Location: Filming will take place in Donaldsonville, LA. A fitting session will be held prior to filming in New Orleans, LA.
Job Responsibilities:
- Accurately portray a 1930s Chinese grocery employee, contributing to the film’s historical and cultural authenticity.
- Participate in all scheduled fittings and rehearsals as required by the production team.
- Work closely with the director, producers, and other cast members to bring the vision of the 1930s era to life on screen.
- Follow all directions and perform actions as required for the role, including but not limited to, background acting, speaking roles (if applicable), and interacting with main characters and other background actors.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Chinese descent is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Available to film on specified dates and travel to the filming location in Donaldsonville, LA, as well as attend a fitting in New Orleans, LA.
- Previous acting experience is beneficial but not required.
- Must have a professional attitude and be reliable.
- Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team.
Compensation Details:
- Pay will be in accordance with industry standards for background actors.
- A $50 bump will be provided for attending the fitting session prior to filming days.
