Casting is now open Canada-wide for the lead role in the non-union feature film Beneath the Surface. We are looking for an actress to portray the character of Emily, a forensic auditor turned vigilante, who is relentless in her pursuit of justice and uncovering corruption. The film will shoot in both Toronto, Canada, and Pakistan, and travel expenses will be covered.
Character Reference:
Emily is similar to the character portrayed by Emily Blunt in Sicario—athletic, driven, and fearless.
Job Responsibilities:
- Portray the lead character, Emily, in a non-union feature film.
- Embody the intense drive and complexity of a forensic auditor who has turned vigilante, driven by the fight against corruption.
- Work closely with the director and production team to bring the character’s story to life.
- Participate in film shoots in both Canada and Pakistan, following the direction provided by the creative team.
Requirements:
- Must be female, Caucasian, aged 25-45, and athletic.
- Must reside in Canada and have a valid Canadian passport.
- Able to commit to international travel, with shooting locations in both Toronto and Pakistan.
- Prepared to work in physically and emotionally intense scenes, matching the character’s arc and story.
Compensation:
- $350 per day.
- All travel, accommodations, and meals will be covered.
- Compensation for “off” days while in Pakistan.
