Job Description:

The hit series "The Righteous Gemstones" is seeking male actors to portray wounded Civil War soldiers for upcoming filming dates. We need individuals who can authentically represent soldiers from the Civil War era, with a specific emphasis on realistic and period-appropriate appearances.

Job Responsibilities:

• Portrayal: Act as wounded Civil War soldiers in various scenes.

• Authenticity: Maintain period-appropriate appearances, avoiding fresh modern-day haircuts.

• Head Injury Role: For those selected, allow the hair/makeup department to shave a spot on your head to apply a realistic wound/injury. Optionally, the rest of your hair can be shaved to match after filming.

• Collaboration: Work closely with the director and production team to bring historical accuracy to your role.

• Professionalism: Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude throughout the shoot.

• Punctuality: Arrive on time and be prepared for the full day of shooting.

Requirements:

• Appearance: Must not have fresh modern-day haircuts to maintain period accuracy.

• Availability:

  • 32 actors needed on 6/13

  • 32 actors needed on 6/14 (preference for actors who did not film on 6/13)

• Willingness: For head injury roles, willingness to have a spot shaved on the head by the hair/makeup department.
