Awake is hiring a full-time Event & Guest Services Host to join its on-site team in Uvita, Costa Rica. This people-facing hospitality position is at the heart of the Awake guest experience. The selected candidate will welcome guests, retreat facilitators, event participants, and visitors while helping ensure their experience runs smoothly from arrival onward. Awake is seeking someone who is warm, proactive, and hospitality-driven, with the ability to coordinate across teams, respond thoughtfully to guest needs, and help create a welcoming environment for retreats and events.
Job Responsibilities
- Welcome guests, retreat facilitators, event participants, and visitors.
- Support guest arrivals and provide a warm, professional first impression.
- Assist with retreats, events, and other guest-facing activities.
- Coordinate with internal teams to help operations run smoothly.
- Respond proactively to guest questions and needs.
- Help create a thoughtful and welcoming experience throughout each guest’s visit.
- Represent Awake professionally in daily interactions with guests and visitors.
Requirements
- Strong interest in hospitality and guest services.
- Warm, welcoming, and proactive personality.
- Comfortable working directly with guests and event participants.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple teams.
- Able to respond professionally and thoughtfully to guest needs.
