Utility II – Live TV Broadcast Technician (Memphis, TN)
Step into the action behind the scenes of a major live broadcast event in Memphis. This Utility II role supports Technical Operations during setup, execution, and teardown of live remote TV productions. You’ll be hands-on, working with broadcast trucks, loading and unloading equipment, managing cabling for cameras, and supporting production teams across departments. This is a physically active and rewarding opportunity for those with live event experience and a passion for broadcast operations.
Job Responsibilities

Load and unload heavy cases of production equipment

Assist with cabling: layout, pickup, and coiling for camera operators

Transport camera batteries and assist with scenic and lighting gear

Climb ladders, work on scaffolding and rooftops as needed

Support technical crews throughout setup and breakdown
Requirements

Must live within 100 miles of Memphis, TN

Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Must have worked a minimum of 7 live remote productions as a utility tech

Familiarity with TV production equipment (cameras, cables, monitors)

Skilled at wrapping/unwrapping cables and maintaining cable organization
