Job Description
Ismailova Theatre of Dance is seeking a dramaturge/acting coach for a full-length dance/physical theatre production titled The Boy and The Wolf. This emotionally charged show will explore the relationship between humans and nature and will be developed through ensemble work, choreography, and physical expression. Rehearsals will run July–August with performances in November at York Woods Library Theatre, Toronto.
Job Responsibilities

Facilitate ensemble-based scene creation and lead improvisation exercises

Conduct acting exercises to enhance team cohesion and character development

Observe and critique choreography with an eye for emotional storytelling

Collaborate with the choreographer to structure and unify the overall show

Foster an inclusive and respectful environment across diverse artistic backgrounds

Attend production meetings and tech rehearsals

Commit to 18 rehearsals between July 21–August 31 and tech rehearsals on Nov 1, 8, 14
Requirements

Experience in physical theatre, movement, dance, and directing

Background in either theatre or dance highly preferred
