Job Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with the production team to deliver high-quality work within schedule

Positions Available:

Gaffer – Must also be able to grip

Script Supervisor – Responsible for continuity and script notes

Sound Mixer – Must provide digital slate (production provides audio equipment)

Boom Operator – Must provide digital slate (production provides audio equipment)

Wardrobe Stylist – Wardrobe prep only, no shopping required

Grip Truck Driver – One move per day

Makeup/Hair Artist – Single artist covering both makeup and hair

An independent, non-union slasher horror film is casting a male lead actor and production assistants for an upcoming shoot in Southampton, New Jersey. This ultra-low-budget production is seeking passionate talent who enjoys horror filmmaking and is comfortable working on an independent set. Applicants must be able to commute to the filming location and provide their own transportation.
Job Responsibilities
- Male Lead: Portray the film’s lead character in a feature-length slasher horror production.
- Production Assistant: Support the crew with lighting, sound, props, set decoration, and building set pieces.
- Collaborate with the cast and crew throughout production.
- Follow creative and production direction on set.
- Maintain professionalism during weekend filming.
Requirements
- Male Lead (Arlo Twain): Male, playing age 23–32 (appearing around 27). Confident, witty, athletic, and comfortable with mature R-rated themes, including suggestive content and same-sex intimacy. No nudity is required. Open to all ethnicities.
- Production Assistants: No experience required, though previous theater or film experience is a plus.
- Must provide your own transportation to the filming location.
- Comfortable with horror elements, including fake blood, dirt, and mud.
- Non-union performers and crew members are encouraged to apply.
- Submit a headshot, resume, and demo reel if available.
