Job Detail: We are seeking 2 passionate Storytellers to embark on a national tour of Italy, engaging primary school students through interactive workshops. As a Storyteller, you will bring to life one of five enchanting stories, each tailored to specific language levels, themes, and grammatical points. This immersive experience will transform classrooms into dream spaces, fostering a dynamic learning environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct 3 to 4 workshops daily at various Italian schools
  • Lead independent and interactive sessions with groups of approximately 20 students
  • Maintain an engaging and captivating storytelling style
  • Collaborate with educational staff to ensure effective workshops

Requirements:

  • Age 18 or over
  • Native or highly proficient English speaker
  • Formal qualification in Performing Arts, Theatre in Education, or Foreign languages
  • Possession of an EU passport, Working Holiday Visa (Canadian, Australian, New Zealand, and South Korean applicants), or relevant work permit for Italy
  • Teaching or workshop experience, with a preference for TEFL certification
  • Prior experience working with children
  • Willingness to provide an International Child Protection Certificate (ICPC) or equivalent (covered by Educo)
  • Valid driver’s license (Manual preferred)

Compensation Details: Rehearsal Agreement:

  • Dates: 14th January 2024 – 28th January 2024
  • Payment: €300

Tour Agreement:

  • Dates: 29th January – 1st June 2024
  • Average of up to six contact hours per day at multiple schools, with travel included (distances of 100km and above)
  • Some work on Saturdays may be required
  • Accommodation: Shared room and breakfast provided
  • Payment: €250 per week (paid monthly)
  • Additional benefits: Car/petrol costs, work insurance, potential to earn up to €30 per week bonus (depending on Employment Conditions fulfillment)

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The Eighth Door is a premium, Netflix-level psychological thriller / supernatural drama centered on eight strangers drawn together by a mysterious force and bound by a truth that could destroy them all.

As reality fractures and hidden pasts surface, each character is forced to confront who they are — and what they’re willing to sacrifice to survive.

The series blends grounded emotional drama with supernatural tension, exploring themes of identity, morality, redemption, and power.


CASTING OVERVIEW

We are casting lead, supporting, and featured roles across a diverse range of ages, ethnicities, and backgrounds.

We are especially seeking actors with:

  • Strong emotional range

  • Psychological depth

  • Comfort with dialogue-heavy, character-driven material

  • Experience in film, television, or strong stage background

Multilingual actors and international backgrounds are a plus but not required.
