Casting Call: Upper Body Amputees for Overseas Film Production

Talento Casting Agency is excited to announce a unique opportunity for individuals with upper body amputations to participate as extras in an international film project. This upcoming production is set to shoot in Auckland in mid to late March. We are reaching out to the community to find individuals who are interested in experiencing the vibrancy and dynamics of a large film production.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate as background talent in various scenes requiring the presence of characters with upper body amputations.

  • Follow directions from the director, assistant directors, and production staff to ensure scenes are executed as required.

  • Be available for costume fittings, makeup sessions, and any rehearsals as needed prior to filming.

  • Maintain professionalism and a positive demeanor on set.

Requirements:

  • Must have an upper body amputation.

  • No previous acting experience is required; however, individuals should be comfortable being on camera and able to follow direction well.

  • Must be legally able to work in New Zealand and responsible for own accommodation and transportation to the set in Auckland.

  • Availability for the duration of the shooting schedule in mid to late March is essential.

  • Must be aged 18 years or older.

Compensation Details:

  • This is a paid opportunity. Specific rates will be discussed upon application but will align with industry standards for extra work.

  • Meals and any on-set requirements will be provided during shooting days.
