Casting Call: Voice Actors for “Ouran Highschool Host Club” Fan Dub
Job Description: We are excited to announce a casting call for a fan dubbing project of the popular anime series “Ouran Highschool Host Club.” We are looking for talented voice actors who can bring the characters to life with energy and authenticity. This project will recreate the series’ episodes with English voice-overs, staying true to the original character personalities and story arcs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide voice-over recordings for one or more characters, matching the timing and emotional tone of the original scenes.
- Participate in group readings and discussions over Discord to ensure consistency and quality across the dub.
- Revise and re-record parts as needed to meet the director’s requirements.
Requirements:
- Access to a quiet space for high-quality recording without background noise or audio peaking.
- A Discord account for project communication and coordination.
- High-quality recording equipment; XLR microphones are preferred, but USB microphones of good quality are acceptable.
- Ability to closely emulate the original character voices and personalities.
- No joke auditions; submissions must be serious and professional in intent.
Compensation Details:
- As this is a fan project, roles are likely unpaid, but participants will gain experience and exposure in voice acting within an enthusiastic community of fans.
- Voice actors will receive full credit for their participation in the project.
