Job Description:
Freeman Casting is holding an open casting call for Asian and South Asian adult amputees aged 18-85 for a feature film shooting in Port Moody. We are seeking individuals who are comfortable without prosthetic limbs, as authenticity in appearance is essential for the role. This project requires continuity in availability for the specified shoot dates.
Job Responsibilities:
- Authentic Representation: Portray a character authentically in scenes requiring visible amputation.
- Follow Wardrobe and Styling Guidelines: Adhere to specific styling requirements, which include no colored hair, visible tattoos, piercings, or other modern attributes.
- Availability: Maintain flexibility and commitment to all scheduled dates for continuity in filming.
Job Requirements:
- Age Range: 18-85 years old
- Ethnicity: Asian or South Asian
- Comfort Without Prosthetics: Must be comfortable appearing without prosthetic limbs on camera.
- Appearance Restrictions: No colored hair, visible tattoos, piercings, eyeglasses, fake nails, fake lashes, or other modern cosmetic attributes. Facial hair is allowed but may be styled or altered by the makeup team.
- Willingness to Be Styled: Actors may have wigs or hair extensions applied as needed for the role.
