Allied soldiers Hendrik and Johan are on the run in Nazi Germany, 1942. After breaking out of their prison camp and with the SS on their heels, they flee to the countryside in hope of evading the soldiers and returning home.

Male Lead – aged 35 to 55
HENDRIK: Johan’s father Hendrik is a scruffy, quiet and soft hearted man who has been farming his whole life. Since the war began, he has become a hardened version of himself and is willing to do whatever necessary to protect his family.
Male Lead – aged 16 to 22
JOHAN: Johan is Hendrik’s son. Quiet and intelligent, Johan grew up working on his family farm. At age 15 he was enlisted into the war effort as a personal messenger. 2 years later, Johan was captured by the SS and forced to work in a coal mining camp. Months later, his father was sent to the same camp.
Male Supporting – aged 18 to 35
KLAUS: Young, angry, and brutal, Klaus prides himself in being the youngest Nazi officer in his unit.
Production will be the week of October 4th – 11th 2021 in Palmerston North, New Zealand.
