What We Need

We’re looking for an expert Associate Producer to join our 2K Mobile Games team! This position is the glue that holds the creative development, analytics, marketing and publishing teams together – driving the day-to-day work that keeps our games fresh, player-focused, and engaging!

What You Will Do

Reporting to the 2K Mobile Lead Producer, you will plan projects and be responsible for the execution of the publishing process. You will work with internal and external partners and will steer our efforts in optimally building, operating, and servicing our products. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with developers to define project checkpoints and sprint deliverables, then driving the successful achievement of those projects. Ensuring game production, content updates, and LiveOps plans are on track, and clearly presenting risks when they are not.
  • Owning weekly production reporting and ensuring collaborators are aligned on project roadmaps and creative changes. Identifying and addressing process bottlenecks alongside the Lead Producer.
  • Project-managing the tasks of the 2K Mobile publishing team – Product Managers, UA/Marketing, BD, LiveOps, BI/Reporting. Leading weekly standups and Scrum ceremonies to ensure everyone has transparency while working towards common goals.
  • Handling coordination with QA, Localization, Customer Service, and Legal Clearance teams (including legal asset submissions).
  • Managing art + UI/UX outcomes and feedback with external vendors and developers.
  • Supporting multiple projects by defining production processes, tracking methods, and workflows with development partners.

Who We Believe Will Be A Great Fit

  • 1-3+ years of experience in a production role for successful mobile games across all stages of development (concept to launch to live service).
  • Familiarity with agile development processes and principles.
  • Passion for free-to-play and service-based mobile games. Has intimate knowledge of gameplay mechanics, monetization systems, and other aspects of these games’ core designs.
  • Proficient communication and interpersonal skills. Proven track record of working with creative and technical partners across time zones. Adept at MS Word, Excel, and Powerpoint (or Google equivalent).
  • Highly organized and effective multi-tasker. Strong time and project management skills. Can self-start and focus on multiple projects while meeting changing priorities head-on.
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve risks.
  • Experience building or working on wireframes and product specifications.
  • Experience with project management and coordination tools such as Asana, JIRA, and Slack.
  • Bachelor’s degree, with a preference for Computer Science or Business (or equivalent experience).
