Job Description

A non-union voice-over project is seeking male voice talent ages 35–60 with a distinguished, warm, friendly, and conversational delivery that also carries a strong sense of authority. Talent with a neutral North American accent is preferred, while British accents and seasoned voices are also welcome. Toronto-based performers may record in person, while talent outside Toronto must have a professional home studio suitable for remote recording.

Job Responsibilities

• Record professional voice-over material for multiple spots and cutdowns.
• Deliver a warm, friendly, conversational, and authoritative vocal performance.
• Follow creative direction during the recording session.
• Maintain consistent tone and delivery across multiple recordings.
• Complete a connection test before remote recording when required.

Requirements

• Male voice talent ages 35–60.
• Neutral North American accent preferred.
• British accents and seasoned voices are also welcome.
• Must have strong professional voice-over delivery.
• Toronto talent may record in person.
• Talent outside Toronto must have a professional home studio with Source Connect.
• Must be available for the required recording session.

Compensation

• CAD $600 session rate.
• CAD $50 per hour for overtime during hours 6–7.
• CAD $75 per hour for overtime beginning at hour 8.
• All rates subject to a 20% agency fee.

Recording can take place in Halifax or from the performer’s professional remote studio.

Compensation

• $500.
• Rate covers one 30-second TV spot, one 15-second online video, and one 30-second digital audio spot.
• Includes one-year regional media usage for TV, online, radio, and digital audio.
