The roles
We have a rare opportunity for two highly professional and outward-facing Senior Producers to join our US-based console game Production team. Our Senior Producers own the direction of our titles and oversee day-to-day operations of them. This includes setting and maintaining schedules, along with full management of production, marketing and sales needs. These are key positions, with ultimate responsibility for upholding 1st Party and licensee obligations relating to our projects.
Skills
We are looking for two diligent, motivated and communicative Senior Producers. The ideal candidates will thrive in a busy agile team and remain calm under pressure in our deadline-driven multi-project production environment.
We are looking for a strong suite of competence in the following key areas:
- Project leadership and management: ensuring projects are released on time and within budget
- Developer and license management: establishing and maintaining positive professional relationships and open lines of communication with our external developers and licensors
- Internal communications: communicating with OG colleagues internationally and at all levels of the business to ensure alignment on project progress and timelines
- Creative management: understanding our partner brands and key game features to ensure the integrity of our product design
- Problem-solving: taking the lead on anticipating, identifying and swiftly resolving problems that arise during the production process
- People management: providing effective leadership and oversight of Producers and Associate Producers assisting with title delivery
- Market awareness: demonstrable knowledge of marketplace trends, including competitor analysis
- Technical expertise: an understanding of different hardware platform specifications, including the ability to review Technical Design Documents
Experience
Our guideline preferred level of experience for these roles is:
- 5+ years working in the console game industry
- 2+ years as a games Producer
- Quality Assurance tester/lead experience preferred
- At least two projects shipped from start to finish in a lead Producer capacity
- Experience with managing licensed IPs
