Job Description
A holiday feature film is now casting background actors and specialty performers for an upcoming production. This paid opportunity is open to men, women, and children of various ages and backgrounds. Casting directors are seeking a wide range of talent to help bring a festive small-town story to life, including families, business professionals, church youth, performers, and real estate professionals.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform as a background actor in feature film scenes
- Follow direction from the production team and assistant directors
- Help create realistic community, business, and holiday environments
- Maintain professionalism and continuity throughout filming
- Be available for scheduled filming dates as assigned
Requirements
- Open to all genders and ethnicities
- Seeking talent for the following roles:
- Small Town Locals & Families (ages 18–70s)
- Upscale Real Estate Workers (ages 18–60)
- Church Youth Group (ages 10–15)
- Business Executives (ages 20–60)
- Special Background Performers including pianists and singers (ages 20–60)
- Real Estate Buyers (ages 20–60)
- Children under 18 must have appropriate work permits where required
- Recent headshot or current photo preferred
- Must be available for filming in the Buffalo/Lewiston area
Compensation
- Union performers: $224 for 8 hours
- Non-union background actors: $187 for 10 hours
