Job Description
Department: Integrated Production
Reports To: Executive Producer and Department Head
Summary:
Detail-oriented and creatively driven, the Sr. Integrated Producer will initiate, maintain, and manage Agency productions on an ongoing basis for television, digital, radio and print/OOH from conception to completion. A creative powerhouse who pushes the work to be great and knows exactly which partners to call to execute the vision. Working closely with creative teams and marketing, the candidate must have full working knowledge of the production process and overall agency operations.
Responsibilities:
- Bid, review and negotiate production costs.
- Review creative concepts and put forward production partner suggestions for review.
- Build out production executions that are thoughtful and considers both agency and client expectations.
- Develop and adhere to schedules and budgets.
- Communicate clearly with project team in order to manage expectations.
- Triple bid work to obtain competitive pricing/scheduling.
- Manage the day-to-day workflow of active productions.
- Support leadership and team building within department.
- Manage and maintain relationships with outside vendors including reps, directors, photographers, editors, and other agency production partners.
- Is excited about new and emerging media, platforms, and technology.
- Manage junior members of the team and offer mentorship.
- Must enforce adherence to quality standards for the team as set forth by the department head.
- Foster creative and innovative solutions to complex productions.
- Identify short-term and long-term opportunities within the industry.
- Pursue new ways to contribute to overall agency and client profitability.
- Work with department head to set junior team members’ goals and evaluate progress.
Tasks:
- Collaborate with Creative on concept development as needed.
- Generate cost ballparks and tentative schedules to confirm feasibility.
- Create client estimates and provide to Project Management.
- Award jobs with Director, and schedule shoot upon client’s approval of formal estimate.
- Manage, organize, and attend shoots with Account Management, Creative and Client.
- Attend creative briefing at the start of a project.
- Help to facilitate hiring, managing, developing, and promoting junior team members.
- Participate in weekly departmental staff meetings.
- Attend interdepartmental briefings.
- Keep supervisor apprised of the status of work.
Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years (or equivalent) in Production, preferably at an advertising agency
- Must have technical knowledge of TV/radio/social production
- Strong written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills
- Full understanding of the creative process and how an agency works
- Need to possess strong interpersonal skills to foster optimal department and vendor relationships
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Mentor and team builder
- Strong problem-solving skills and detail oriented
- Basic understanding of Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience preferred
