Our client is an established and respected supplier of ingredients and specialty chemicals sold to manufacturers of Food, Beverage, Nutraceuticals, Cosmetics, Personal Care, and Home Care (HI&I) products. We are searching for a sales professional, based in the Atlanta area to cover accounts in the states of Georgia, Florida, and Alabama.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- A specific degree in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or other natural science is preferred
- 5 years minimum prior experience working for a manufacturer or distributor of nutritional ingredients, food ingredients, flavors, or cosmetic ingredients in a sales, sales support, or technical service capacity.
- Already have established connections and customers in the territory. All sales are B2B – to manufacturers of food and beverage products, sports nutrition, dietary supplements, protein powders, vitamins, personal care products like shampoos, conditioners, hair care, skin care, sun care, lotions, etc. and household care products like floor cleaners, detergents, disinfectants, etc.
- Experience selling fatty acid chemistry (oleochemicals)
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills
- Ability to travel – on average – 3 days every other week to visit accounts
- A clean driving record and valid license to drive a car
- A confident and hard-working attitude. Positive, upbeat, and enthusiastic personality.

This is a remote position so candidates can be located anywhere in Georgia, Florida, or Alabama.
