We are seeking a professional level Choir Conductor to educate and inspire vocal students in our K-6 music program. This unique opportunity offers the chance to nurture young musicians while working with a driven musical community and exchanging artistic visions. Depending on qualifications and fit, we may extend additional opportunities to work with our other musical organizations. 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead dynamic music classes for students on Monday & Friday.
  • Monday – 2 classes: 12:45-1:40, 1:55-2:45
  • Friday – 3 classes: 11:55-12:45, 12:45-1:40, 1:55-2:45
  • Collaborate with the Program Director to exchange ideas and design engaging curriculums and repertoire.
  • Motivate young students with your musical passion and teaching expertise.

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of vocal technique and music theory.
  • Proven experience teaching choral music to students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students and adults.
  • Enthusiastic leadership and fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Candidates who are comfortable leading from the piano will be given preference.

Compensation: 

  • Competitive pay.
  • Negotiable, based on candidates’ expertise and experience.

  • Reliable transportation to and from set.
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a team-oriented mindset.

Compensation Details:

  • Ultra-low-budget rates in accordance with ULB guidelines. Specific rates will be provided upon offer.
