Senior Producer

$$$

ArtClass is a team of directors, producers, editors, writers, and designers. We are a bi-coastal production company that creates work ranging from commercials, to series, to films.

We are seeking a Senior Producer with a strong background in advertising production, who understands the standards and demands of the industry, and is excited about digging in with us. This contract position is located in-office, in El Segundo, LA. Applicants with no true ad agency / commercial experience will not be considered for this role.

Reporting to: Managing Director/EP

Responsible for: Commercial bidding, teeing up jobs for production, occasional line producing, and overseeing production teams on multiple projects at once and ensuring they’re delivered on time and on budget.

Qualifications

Ability to be in the weeds of production (budgeting and line producing), capable of communicating with freelance production teams, guiding and improving the creative product, and also fostering deep client relationships.

About You

  • You have a desire to join a team and find a home base where you can impact and shape the production department, and creative product from start to finish.

  • You like to work on multiple projects at once that are at various stages from creative/production/post rather than just going from set to set.

  • You have experience bidding and producing Non-Union jobs, and either experience producing union jobs or a desire to learn how to bid and/or produce them occasionally.

  • You have clear and concise writing skills for bid letters, and client/agency communication.

  • You’re equally comfortable producing a more robust $500K+ job as you are getting scrappy on a $40K quick shoot.

  • You have a strong track record of producing quality content in both NYC and LA.

  • You’re competent in all areas of commercial production and you understand the agency, brand, production company dynamics.

  • You know ShowBiz Budgeting software inside and out and capable of quickly pulling bids and bid letters together, with an understanding of AICP language.

  • You have strong crew relationships and genuine interest in our industry and the people who help make it all work.

  • You naturally bring a positive and enthusiastic presence to your work, your crew relationships, and your client experience.

Experience

  • 5-7+ years experience working directly with clients and production teams to produce outstanding work.
