GTN Technical Staffing is seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager, for a client in the downtown Houston, TX metroplex. This position will be responsible for product planning and project administration/tracking. Managing the project implementation and renovation of existing web applications, the position will encompass the Senior Technical Product Manager to both manage and discuss business initiatives to the end-client and end-users.
The candidates for the Senior Technical Product Manager position will need to have the knowledge and background combination of technical development and project management – with a proven track record of software projects based on a full stack environment – C# / .Net / Angular.
This position is a blend of a solution architect and a typical business analyst – being able to articulate requirements, understanding what features end-users are requesting, and have the ability to determine the technical requirements needed to deliver on such requests. Partnerships between developers, QAs, and other software development architects, will be needed to deliver the business requirements.
Required Skills:
- 7+ years of the following…Demonstrated management experience of defining and launching products.
- Understanding project management methodologies related to software products in oil / gas and finance industries.
- Design and deliver periodic product management documentation, reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
- Working with internal and external stakeholders, to manage and create release plans, understanding requirements, and managing direct reports.
- Facilitate, support, and perform product demos to various end-users and customers with direct mutual partnerships.
