A horror short film selected for the Texas Horror Cult Film Festival is seeking crew members for an upcoming production in Dallas, Texas, and surrounding areas. The project follows an emergency dispatcher on leave who unleashes a demon sealed inside a liquor bottle, promising to fulfill his deepest desires in exchange for possession of his body. Multiple behind-the-camera crew positions are available for filmmakers interested in gaining hands-on experience on a horror production.
Job Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with the production team throughout filming.
- Perform duties associated with the assigned crew department.
- Support the creative and technical needs of the horror short film.
- Follow instructions from department leads and production leadership.
- Maintain professionalism, reliability, and strong communication on set.
- Help ensure an efficient and organized production environment.
Requirements
- Seeking Grip & Electric (G&E) crew members.
- Seeking Makeup/SFX artists.
- Seeking Editors.
- Seeking Composers.
- Seeking Sound Mixers.
- Seeking Production Assistants (PAs).
- Relevant filmmaking, production, or department-specific experience is preferred.
